About Me

My name is vijay Kombathula. Although my background is in the Catering management industry, I’ve been an employer since 2019. I’ve also been a bodybuilding and fitness enthusiast since I was 18.

Born and raised in Kolkata, I have trained on and off since the age of 18, sometimes producing what some people might call a decent body. I’ve also gone through periods where I have become lazy and put on lots of weight. At my heaviest, in my early thirties, I weighed 242 pounds, much of which was fat. After getting diagnosed with mild nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, I pulled my act together and got back into shape, at the age of 33.

I love bodybuilding and fitness probably more than anyone I have ever met. After all these years, I still get a buzz when I train, and I can never wait to get back into the gym. I love the gym lifestyle and culture, and I especially love the feeling that I get after a workout, as I leave the gym with my joints feeling well oiled and my muscles feeling like they’re about to explode!

Another thing that I love is learning about fitness and bodybuilding. As someone with a strong background in life sciences, my research goes much deeper than average. I like to understand everything at a deep scientific level so that when I train, I do it properly.

For me, training isn’t just about building muscle and strength. I also understand the importance of improving my endurance, agility, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture, gait, muscle strength ratios, and body composition. Only then can you truly have a great body.

this blog contains everything you need, whether male or female, to create a great body. I researched everything thoroughly, wrote it all with care, and did my best to explain everything as clearly as possible. I then updated the content and kept updating it to make sure that it was as effective and useful to people as possible.

If my blog or social media accounts help you, please let me know. I genuinely love hearing from people who have benefited from my efforts. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

How much do Genetic influences muscle growth?

Although everybody can use weight training to dramatically increase the size of their muscles or curves, some genetically determined factors limit how much and how fast muscles/curves can be developed. These include: The number of fibers in your muscles The ratio of Type I to Type II fibers in your muscles Your body type Your hormonal balance, especially your testosterone level      Let’s look at each of these limitations individually. The number of fibers in your muscles Muscle fibers were introduced into m uscle structure  and motor units were introduced into h ow muscles work . You were born with a specific number of muscle fibers per motor unit, and, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to increase the number. If you have an above-average number, you will have the potential to gain more strength and size than someone with an average number of muscle fibers. Conversely, if you have a below-average number, you will lack the potential to gain as mu...

5 Popular Myths of weight training and bodybuilding

Weight Training Unfortunately, despite the amazing benefits of weight training, certain popular myths often discourage or dissuade people from taking it up. Let’s go over and dispel some of these myths.  Myth 1: If you stop exercising, your muscles will turn into fat   This is impossible. Muscle tissue and fat tissue are two completely different things. One cannot turn into the other. If you stop training, you will gradually lose muscle, shape, and strength, but you will put on weight only if you eat more calories than you burn. Myth 2: It takes a lot of time and effort to see good results As long as you do the three main things — train, eat, and rest — correctly, you can experience remarkable results within just six months, training one hour a day and four days a week. That’s just four hours a week. Your friends and family should start to notice a difference after just eight or so weeks. Myth 3: Weight training decreases your flexibility If you train correctly, making s...
